- Ozone is a strong oxidizer that helps break down contaminants
- Check valves, injectors and generators need periodic service
- Works only while the pool pump is running

Can UV or ozone replace chlorine?
No. They work alongside chlorine and can lower how much you need, but the pool still needs a chlorine level and balanced water.
Do UV systems need maintenance?
Yes. UV lamps and quartz sleeves need periodic service and replacement. We check them during service visits when asked.
Why does my UV or ozone system only work some of the time?
Both only treat water while the pool pump is running. If the pool pump runs short hours, the system does too. We set run times to fit.
Do you repair systems you didn't install?
Yes. We diagnose and repair existing UV and ozone systems and tell you whether repair or replacement makes more sense.
Do you charge for estimates?
Estimates are free. Diagnostic work is billed separately and discussed with you first.
