Common causes are low water flow (a dirty filter or a closed valve), a tripped pressure or high-limit switch, an ignition problem, or the gas supply. We test each one so you don't pay for parts you don't need.
My pool heater rumbles or bangs. What does that mean?
Usually too little water flow through the heater, a broken internal bypass valve, or an external manual bypass valve that is set wrong. Running it that way can damage the heater, so turn it off and call us.
